Bitfoxers is an educational paper-trading simulator for iOS. This page explains exactly what information the app handles and how. The short version: we do not collect any personal data.

Important context:

Bitfoxers does not support real-money trading. The app does not provide a wallet, exchange, deposit, withdrawal or asset-custody service. All trading activity inside the app is simulated and intended for learning purposes only. The app does not offer financial or investment advice.

1. Information we collect

None. Bitfoxers operates without user accounts, sign-in, identity verification or banking details. Specifically:

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, address or any government-issued ID.
We do not collect your IDFA, IDFV, advertising identifier or device fingerprint.
We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDK.
We do not run AppTrackingTransparency prompts because there is no tracking to disclose.

2. Information stored on your device

Your paper-trading positions, watchlist entries, learning progress, alert preferences and a numeric demo balance are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage (UserDefaults / app sandbox). You can erase all of this at any time by deleting the app or by tapping Reset Demo Balance in Settings. None of this information is uploaded to our servers.

The prices shown on the asset cards inside the app are illustrative reference values bundled with the app at install time. They are intentionally fixed so the lab can focus on the workflow of paper trading, not on chasing live charts.

3. Permissions

Bitfoxers may ask for the following on-device permissions, each strictly optional:

Face ID / Touch ID — only used to lock the app locally so other people on the same device cannot view your practice journal. Authentication happens entirely on-device; we never receive biometric data.
Local notifications — only used to remind you to read the day's lesson at the time you choose. You can disable them in iOS Settings at any time.

4. Children

Bitfoxers is rated 18+ and is not intended for children. The app contains references to financial concepts and simulated leverage that are inappropriate for minors.

5. Data sharing

Because we do not collect personal information, we have nothing to share, sell, rent or otherwise disclose to third parties.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, we will publish the revised version at this URL and update the date above. Material changes will also be highlighted in the app's release notes.
